Proprietors Brian and Enid Youé were regular
guests at the hotel themselves prior to 1997, when, on February 14th,
Valentines Day, they became the proud owners. Now they offer a warm
friendly welcome to all their guests, both young and old, new first
time visitors, and long standing regulars.
Built in the 17th Century, the hotel
is quietly situated within the Snowdonia National Park, overlooking
the Beaver Pool on the river Conwy and approx. one mile from the village
of Betws-y-Coed.
Stroll
into the village of Betws-y-Coed and browse the local shops or relax
by the river. Betws-y-Coed (Prayer house in the woods) is surrounded
by the Gwydir forest and nestles in the valley where three rivers
meet. The Lledr and Llugwy being tributaries of the river Conwy.
"If you can better it, we don't know how" All
of Snowdonia's attractions are close by, whether your interests include
history, castles, legend, rambling, mountaineering, rivers, lakes,
forest walks, breathtaking scenery and golden beaches. Try a walk
to the summit of Mount Snowdon or if you prefer jump on the Snowdon
Mountain Railway and do it the easy way.
